I'm going to guess twilight?

Carol Dunstan said...

waaah? It's Friday night here, why are the sneaks starting already??? I'm used to starting my Saturday with the sneaks, pondering and musing over a cuppa first thing... you'll throw me all out of whack! I'll have to go have a cuppa now!

Twilight, mmmmm that'd be nice, but I suspect not... must get cuppa so I can think movies, LOL

Mandy said...

okay...my first guess is Flash Dance.

Libby Hickson said...

Well ladies, we have him hooked - I just did my usual Friday morning IM to my brother with the sneak peek link, and he said "I SAW IT ALREADY"!!!! He is officially checking it out on his own now, LOL!

As for the movie - as usual - not a clue. But ROCK YOUR WORLD? Hmmm. Thinking either Armegeddon (LOL) or a music-related movie, along the lines of what Mandy said, Flashdance. Hmmmmmmmmmmm.

Jon Harmon said...

Going with the "music movie" theme (combined with something that seems more stampable than my first thought, The Rock!), how about Moulin Rouge? There are lots of blue-lit scenes in that...

Laura E. said...

Oh, I hope Jon is right! I LOVE Moulin Rouge and if I dig far enough in my stash, I bought some Moulin Rouge themed products a million years ago! Maybe I'll get a chance to play this week since both my sister AND brother played last week!

Libby Hickson said...

OMG!! Laura E is my SISTER! The whole family's here! And guess what... Laura STAMPS! LOL

Laura E. said...

Correction...Laura loves to stamp but can never find time to do it! I'm REALLY going to try this week though!

Sankari W. said...

Welcome Laura! I LOVE THIS!!! The family that crafts together ... is awesome!!!

Spencer Stockman said...

How Cool we should all try to bring at least 1 family member with us on the challenge this week.... Welcome Laura...

Don't know what happened Carol... I hat it set to post at 8:00 a.m. not sure why it posted at 4:A.M. We are just keeping you on your toes...

I will always guess Twilight since that is what has been stuck in my head for the last month and a half. I am just a little obsessed.

Brooke S said...

Sorry I didn't even notice that I was posting on my Son's account..(he,he) It's really me..
Love ya all.

Ready Set Guess!

Mandy said...

I was also think Moulin Rouge...But not sure with the new clue...hmmm

I love that the brother is checking the site...lol To funny

Mandy said...

My next guess is Dirty Dancing. She wore a white dress...didn't she.

Erica said...

Now my guess is Chronicals of Narnia. The second picture looks like the wardrobe. Not sure about the coloring, but they have changed it around before.

Carol Dunstan said...

Narnia is a great suggestion, but I agree the colours seem off - I don't remember anything being so blue in that.

And it's OK Brooke, 4am is still Friday your time... I can cope with it going up a little early :) (8am and there's a chance I still would have been up!)

still can't come up with anything original... I see trees and I think LOTR but I don't think it is!

Libby Hickson said...

I still think it's Moulin Rouge! Can't get past that one. But I have definitely ruled out Armageddon. hee hee

Traveling Mama said...

I stink at guessing these things! LOL! Can't wait to see what you have for us this week!

Brooke S said...

R U ready for another?

Libby Hickson said...

Bring it on!! :-)

Carol Dunstan said...

ooh that last pic looks interesting!

Libby Hickson said...

It looks like rain on a street? But what's that pole in the middle? Hmmm. No clue.

Brooke S said...

Surprise there is another!! :)

Sorry I am throwing them at you so fast today... I have a date with my sisters, mother, Sweetheart and Son to Phantom of the Opera tonight... So I will have a huge break tonight between posts. Put your heads together and bring it on!!!

Hugs
Brooke

Mandy said...

maybe phantom of the opera...since you are going you may have been inspired...lol

Mandy said...

Singing in the rain is my next guess...This is so much fun

Brooke S said...

I do love the movie Phantom of the Opera! (he,he)

wendyp said...

I have no idea, but I'm guessing Top Gun. That bottom on looks like sunglasses to me.

Sankari W. said...

HEre's another one....

Ali B said...

First time 'guesser' but long time watcher...could it be Pan's Labrynth?

Sankari W. said...

welcome Ali! nice to have you guessing with us!!

Amy, Ottawa, Canada said...

Hey Ali, I was thinking Pan's Labyrinth too ... still not sure.

Hitting the chesterfield with feet up now & hoping elves will come & clean house tonight, while I rest & wait for one more sneak peek.

wendyp said...

ok, maybe rock your world is a hint for "the rock". yeah, I'm totally guessing here, LOL! How about the Scorpion King or the Mummy Returns.

Ali B said...

Thanks Sankari....I love having a look at the sneak peeks.

Ali B said...

Or it could be Underworld? Another good vampire movie!!

Carol Dunstan said...

#1 looks like out of focus trees at night. Hmm, that doesn't narrow it down much.

#2 is clothing - I can see box pleats. And it's relatively thin fabric too, by the way it drapes and you can see through it a bit. Also at night. Still not narrowing it down for me.

#3 A green-y yellow light to the left... such greeny-yellow light makes me thing of Stardust but I don't think the other pics fit

#4 looks like the poster for the movie to me, there is water on either side but it is different. The middle may have rain, I'm undecided about that. Still not helping me, but this is the image I feel I really should know.

#5 looks like fabric... could be a woman's bust on the right but I suspect I'm seeing more in it than is there.

#6 actually makes me think of Elven banners from LOTR, but I've just got LOTR on the brain!

I still have no idea, or no faith int he ideas I do have (but then I had no faith in Mama Mia...). I haven't seen Pan's Labyrinth but I've been told I'd enjoy it

Sankari W. said...

One more sneak peek, eh??? okay! just give me another hour :)

and ps - could you tell those elves to come over and clean up here? LOL!!

Carol Dunstan said...

~picks up phone~ "Hello, Elrond? Amy & Sankari would like their houses cleaned up tonight... now remember they live in human houses, so a leaf blower isn't going to do the job, you'll need a real vaccuum"

Sankari W. said...

LMBO!!! Oh that is hilrious!

PS - Thanks Elrond!

Amy, Ottawa, Canada said...

Carol, I knew you had connections ... ;) I'd also settle for Viggo Mortensen, incase Elrond is busy.

Carol Dunstan said...

oh darn! Aragorn does have elvish blood, but Elrond has already sent Figwit and Glorfindel on their way!

Amy, Ottawa, Canada said...

Hey what about 'Highlander'? I loved that movie. Good French Belgium Dude: Christopher Lambert, bien OUI!

Sankari W. said...

Last sneak peek of the night!!!

Off to actually make the card! LOL! see you all tomorrow! So much fun to read your guesses!!!

Amy, Ottawa, Canada said...

thanks for the extra hints ... looking forward to your creations & the reveal. I'm off to bed, morning comes a few hours earlier here & it's almost midnight.

Jon Harmon said...

Sneak Peak #5 is super familiar, but I could be totally off. And to show how totally off I am, I'm guessing "Bram Stoker's Dracula."

Since that's wrong... I swear #5 is part of a pre-Renaissance-looking painting within the movie. It can't possibly be Hellboy 2, even though that movie was beautiful, right? I think I'm totally off this time.

BTW, I'm hoping to make a "card" again, but use it to learn a new coding trick, like last week's (for anyone who didn't see that I actually played along): http://jonthegeek.blogspot.com/2009/02/curious-case-of-jon-stamper.html

Brooke S said...

You all had fun while I was gone... Phantom was great... Always a winner...

Loving all your guesses... Welcome to all our new friends..

Can't wait to show you all the film tomorrow.
Night Night Hugs
Brooke

Brooke S said...

Jon!!! Every time I see your name I can't help but think of the book/movie "Our Mutual Friend" by Charles Dickens. IF you are in the mood for a long English drama anyone check out this movie you will recognize a loot of people.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0144727/

Jon Harmon said...

I knew "John Harmon" was in a Dickens story, but I didn't know there was a miniseries of it! I haven't read it, but I should totally see that!!!!

Anthonette said...

It's going to rock our world? I'm going to guess Dirty Dancing since one of the hints looks like the scene when he's lifting her up in the water....I don't know!

Jon Harmon said...

i went to "bed," but i can't help but check these posts from my phone! I'm sooooo addicted!

Libby Hickson said...

I've created a monster!!! LOL!

Sankari W. said...

i should go to bed too! but i am flustered with this card so i have been watching hulu instead... okay... back to the table!!

see you guys in a few hours! :)

Libby Hickson said...

Ok is it bad that I am a little glad to know you get frustrated with your cards, Sankari?? When you said you still had to make it, I thought OMG she's one of THOSE who can just whip out MASTERPIECES the night before they are due with no worries... LOL! Me - I'm stuck - giving up and turning in. :-) Can't wait to see what the movie is in the morning!!

Sankari W. said...

nope.... not me ....

i am usually up late friday night contemplating and throwing away attempts... it usually takes two failed attempts to get anything i like :) - Samantha are you there...? (usually Samantha and Carol keep me company - but it makes more sense since they are in a timezone where its actually daylight :) LOL!! its 1am here and i am waiting for creativity to hit me like a ton of bricks... maybe more chocolate??? hmmm...

:)

Libby Hickson said...

Well I'm always amazed by your beautiful creations, so I'm sure it will come to you eventually! And chocolate ALWAYS helps!! LOL!! 1am here too - soooooooo nighty night!!

Sankari W. said...

Night Libby!! I couldn't find chocolate - but made some hot cocoa! yum!!!

Sankari W. said...

thank you so much for the sweet comments!!! sleep well!

Ali B said...

Am from the same part of the world as Sam and Carol too...but unfortunately have only just managed to 'wrestle' the computer back from my boys. It's also dinner time here - 6.17pm and I am off to finish it. Look forward to finding out the result soon ;)

Sankari W. said...

I hope to travel to that part of the world someday! And anytime any of you are in the midwest - let me know!!

Ali B said...

You don't have to offer twice!! But we hope to do the Greek Islands next year so it may have to wait

Carol Dunstan said...

sorry I haven't been around too much, I've been doing proper work (mailing list/newsletter).

I have a feeling I am going to kick myself when I find out what this movie is I just have no idea at the moment! I'm begining to wonder if the "rock your world" comment is a music reference (eg Sister Act, School of Rock) or disaster movie (eg Deep Impact, The Day After Tomorrow, ID4).

Jaimee said...

not sure if anyone has said this one bt i was wondering if it was "The Labyrinth" the old one with David Bowie and Jennifer connelly.. I reckon the third pic you can see the labyrinth layed out to each side...the 'rock my world" comment fits too cause that big red monster can call the rocks..theres a ball scene too so the light, and i think ornament you can see in the last pic might fit. theres a few scenes underground and i think maybe peek 5 could be the costume of that little dwarf guy??? I dunno ..its late...i had no idea all day and i though i would have one last look before bed..hmm.. hope so loved that film when i was a kid!

Carol Dunstan said...

I had Bowie's Labyrinth in mind earlier too, but I can't see the last three images fitting in with it. Mind you it has been a while since I have watched it... and we did just upgrade to a dvd version of it so it would be great if it was!

I've asked my kids and they have no idea either, and a few more hours of pondering have not brought any bright ideas to mind despite the use of brain food (macadamia chocolate...)
