Sneak Peek Friday

Hello Everyone - its time for another Friday Sneak peek guess session :)

Thanks to everybody who played along with our Princess Bride Movie Challenge from Last week!! We are going through all your beautiful entries and will post the recipient of Melanie's stamps and also the Audrey recipient from last week's movie challenge :). Thank you so much to Ann and Melanie for being our wonderful guest designers!

We were amazed that you all guessed the movie from just pictures of the sky from last week's movie - seriously - you guys are amazing!!!

We said that last week - we should just do pictures of blades of grass :) Well, we thought we would just start with this picture for fun before our other sneak peeks... although we think you will probably guess it anyway :)

Sneak Peek #1
how about another sneak peek? - here is another sneak peek in keeping
with the theme of blades of grass :)

Sneak Peek #2
Sorry for the delay in posting this peek - there are two more coming up this evening :)

Sneak Peek #3

How about something a little different from grass :) Here is another sneaky peek :)
there is one more peek this evening :)

Sneak Peek #4

Alright - I have to admit - this set of sneak peeks might have been a wee - bit mysterious - but seriously - you guys are amazing to have guessed movies from just a few pixils - I am sure you will do the same with this one :)

HI Libby and Jennifer! Thanks for getting our guessing party off to a great start! Libby - I am with you - I am sure that someone will guess it from blades of grass :) - can you believe that I watched the movie again only looking for pictures of grass - my parents were wondering what I was doing LOL!! will post another sneak peek after lunch sometime :)

Jennie said...

Let's see..how about Caddyshack..or Four Weddings and a Funeral. Will wait for the next peek...

Amy, Ottawa, Canada said...

Is that second clue the tip of a finger? E.T.?
Was visiting with my parents this morning & they had an E.T. stuffy there for Liam to play with, maybe I'm being influenced LOL

Erin said...

I'm going to go with Field Of Dreams. But I may be wrong.

Mandy said...

I am thinking maybe a football movie...grass and the second picture looks like maybe the top of a helmet...I don't know

Sam said...

Morning! I groaned out loud when I saw the first image girls! HAHAHAHAHA
very funny!!

I agree with Mandy about a football movie. Erin, is Field of Dreams the one with Kevin Costner in it (is there a football movie with Kevin Costner in it?). I guess this would be super timely given you guys just had Superbowl and all :-).

Sam

PS my code word today is outdo...does that mean we have outdone ourselves today?

Sam said...

oh wait a tick....is field of dreams about baseball Maybe? Am I getting confused here...maybe the outdo referred to outdoing myself in stupidity!

Sam.

Carol Dunstan said...

I'm guessing not Field of Dreams... wouldn't there be waaaay too much grass for Sankari to have to actually look for it?

My sinuses are playing up and I can't really think straight, so I don't really have any idea

Sankari W. said...

sorry for not posting a peek sooner! just going to pick up groceries - will post soon! :)

Erica said...

I think I got it! Twilight! The blades of grass are from the meadow scene and the other one is from the poster. Oh, I hope it is Twilight. I love that movie and the entire book series. I am obsessed. I love guessing every Friday! This is so much fun.

Erica said...

Wait, now she said she had to watch the movie again looking for grass. But maybe she found it online already...I do know there are some copies out there. I still hope it is Twilight. Can you tell I LOVE Twilight!

Carol Dunstan said...

I agree it would be nice if it was Twilight but I don't think it will be because it isn't officially out on dvd yet... and there are copies of everything doing the rounds within days of their release (if not before)!

I have had a couple of thoughts... Everafter and Romeo + Juliet (I think we are still on a romantic kick). But I can't recall any grass in R+J so I'm wondering if that greenish shot is from the fishtank or something...

Sankari W. said...

okay - i am back - will post the sneak peek in a second - can't wait to read everyone's guesses :)

Amy, Ottawa, Canada said...

oh well that third sneak peek really makes it clear ... :) Um, haven't seen Twilight, but I have seen 'Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon'. They run through blades of tall grass & bamboo leaves a lot. I'll look forward to the next clue & in the mean time I'll look for a magnifying glass.

Sankari W. said...

LOL about the magnifying glass :)

Mandy said...

is it just me or are these really hard hints...I have no clue. I even have my hubby sitting here trying to figure it out...lol.

Sankari W. said...

i know - i think these are the hardest peeks too - there is no way I could guess if i didn't know the movie - but trust me - the movie ALWAYS gets guessed - i don't know how you guys do it!!!

There is one more peek in about 2 hours :)

Sankari W. said...

i think i mentioned it - but this last peek is just a teensy bit sneaky... just a wee bit :)

Mandy said...

Way out on a limb here, but it is the only think that is remotely close (in my mind)...The Legend of Bagger Vance...its a golf movie, so golf/grass??

Amy, Ottawa, Canada said...

Okay, so like, if I just keeping guessing a different movie, for no apparent reason, sooner or later I'll guess the movie right? Maybe after a few dozen sneak peeks ...

How about "Much Ado About Nothing"? (1993) Romance/Comedy. It has grass in it.

Cindy said...

I couldn't get the others...there is NO WAY I'll get this one...LOL

Anthonette said...

Hi Brooke, Sankari, and everyone,
Since we are close to Valentine's Day, I'm going to guess it's a movie with a strong love story. My guesses are Moonstruck or Out of Africa.

Brooke S said...

I love the extremes we have here on the guessing game.. E.T., Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon'. to Romeo + Juliet..You guys are the best.... It's so fun reading your thoughts.
Hugs
Brooke

Jaimee said...

are you guys kidding !! this is impossible!!! lol lol

anyway i will have a go at it...based on the first clue it looks a bit like a 'glow 'around someone..that reminds me of the Robin hood prince of theives cover art , theres lots of grass in it, and the last clue looks a bit like wood grain..maybe from the arrow.....that s the best i can do i am afraid

Carol Dunstan said...

I think that first shot is water... and water that green makes me think of the Caribbean... and the Caribbean makes me think of Pirates... so POTC is another guess (though that third shot definately looks like grass and I'm not sure where that'd fit in with POTC).

Also, I suggest everyone looks at that last shot at real size (that is assuming Sankari hasn't shrunk it then made view larger on the page), it's tiny... so you don't see that "grain"... which I had thought may have been stone (I still had POTC in my head).

Oh something else that second shot reminded me of was Stardust

Sankari W. said...

nope - no shrinking going on in that picture :) just some other kinds of sneakiness :)

Mandy said...

okay..number 4 kind of looks like skin and the grain is maybe a shirt or fabric...just guessing some stuff. This is really bothering me...lol

Melanie said...

funny! I'm going to go out on a limb and say no one guesses it from THESE peeks(and if they do, it will be justthat, a complete GUESS!!) :) ther's something about that little head popping up ut of the second, tu i don;t know ...

Sam said...

The Longest Yard?

These sneak peeks are atrocious ;-).

More like sneak SHREDS! I bet we don't get it this week.

Thanks for the challenge though :-)
Sam.

Sam said...

Jerry Maguire?

I'm still on the footy them...obviously...although Carol is correct...you shouldn't have o look too hard for grass in a footy movie...but it is ALL I have to go on here.

The first and last peeks are wipeouts with me....the third peek looks like fabric..maybe a couch rotated side on....but who knows.

That second peek is the one I'm working on. I personally think it is a head, but it must have a helmet on it, because I don't imagine that even a buffed bald head would shine that much!

I don't think it is Twilight. Not from a poster at any rate..IMO.

Too hard for me this week. My non-shiny head hurts :-)

Sam said...

OMG Sankari! Talk about throwing a spanner in the works.

Mandy said...

Carol Dunstan said...

I thought Narnia too as soon as I saw that last one

Jen Jefferson said...

My guess is Titanic....

Hi...I'm not a player, but I like to guess in my room...for some reason "Lord of the Rings" is screaming at me!!

Jennie said...

I am guessing ET...in the last hint on the left it looked like Eliot (a reflection of a small face of a child...boy I think) looking out the window...I am just trying to remember if he looked out the window at snow...Hhhmmm. Guess we will find out tomorrow...

Ann said...

Sankari & Brooke, you sneaky little devils! What are you doing to us?! I can't guess anything from those tiny slivers, especially when I'm still not feeling well!!! *sigh* Guess I'll have to wait 'til morning... ;)
