Oh boy...here we go again... :o)
Is that the top of the mast of a ship?

Amy, Ottawa, Canada said...

well, it's going to be one of those weeks, eh? Um could be a mast, yes Cindy or maybe the top of a tree or a bit of bird in the sky?

I'll be checking in when I can: P.A. day for the kids today ... woo hoo.

Sankari W. said...

don't worry - there are more peeks coming with more than sky and grass :)

I know the movie will be a romantic Valentine's Day type movie. The second sneak peak looks like a feather duster or animal fur or some really bad hair...kind of like Joaquin Phoenix on David Letterman the other night.

I'll just guess Romeo & Juliet.

Amy, Ottawa, Canada said...

Oh my, did you see that Joaquin thing, was that an act? He really did have Farrah beat.
Seriously, no idea yet.

Carol Dunstan said...

my goodness, what is that second pic? Makes me think of the White Witchs' head gear in the battlescene of Narnia but I know it's not (the background isn't right

Sankari W. said...

some people said he was "on" something... he must have been - that was one crazy interview - it was so hard to watch... i think he is a wonderful actor - hope he doesn't throw all that away... i haven't seen the farrah one... i think i will youtube it now....

The second picture reminds of Yuri's hat on Doctor Zhivago (love that movie).

As to the David Letterman interview with Joaquin Phoenix, now that was strange! I sure hope he doesn't stop acting entirely...but if he is *acting* crazy, he has me convinced :o)

Sadly, I never did get a chance to make a card for last week's movie, but I am looking forward to seeing what everyone created.

That second peek looks like either the top of a dead Christmas tree (don't ask how I know what that looks like) or someone's CRAZY hair-do.

I'm going to go with something like

Vanity Fair
The Duchess
Marie Antoinette

Non of which are particularly happy stories. but reminds me of the men's hair of the day

Sam.

Carol Dunstan said...

oh look... grass! Long grass though, and dry... Ooh, I think I recognise that blade! Oh, my mistake...

Paula said...

My guess...

Dances with Wolves...

subject to change later...LOL

WE have the picture down for a minute due to VERY sneaky Peekers... Come on girlies :) It will me back up in a few.

Sankari W. said...

that is hilarious Carol!!!

Sankari W. said...

We had a few technical difficulties but we are back up! another one coming soon!

Sankari W. said...

Another one is on its way...

Jennie said...

Okay...not Doctor Zhivago... Hhmm, with the basket I will throw out the movie Willow, just a complete shot in the dark (really clueless! *~*)

Suzanne said...

Waterworld? Kevin Costner is romantic no matter what!

Carol Dunstan said...

ok, maybe not grass. I think Sam is on the right track with a period piece based on the woman's sleeve (it looks like) in the third pic (that undermeant a magical metamorphosis).
The basket can easily fit that too... but there are soo many to choose from within the "period romatic" field!

Mandy said...

Maybe a beauty and the beast type movie...the third picture, I think, is a tuxedo and you can barely see the buttons.

Mandy said...

I am guessing Phantom of the Opera

Carol Dunstan said...

oooh, I'd love it if it was Ever After... I can't remember if she had a basket like that when she was getting the apples.

Sam said...

Is ever after the drew barrymore movie, which is a Cinderella-type movie?

I think it might be that one!

Or have we done that one recently?

Sam

Gonna have to go look up the name and get back to you.

Sam said...

OUI! Danielle de Barbarac!!

She did have a basket Carol..she was out digging up truffles..then jumps in the lake...and is floating about, then meets up with Leonardo and Prince Henry.

SIGH. Love this movie!!

Fingers crossed :-).
Sam.

Ever since the panini grill incident, my guessing powers have all but escaped me! Even with all those clues, I have no idea.

Sam said...

I don't think that dress is Ever After.

I'm stuck now too.

Sam.

Sankari W. said...

Because of Winn-Dixie is a great movie!! You must see . I have to say it's an even better read.. I first read it to my kids 10 years ago when it was first out.. It's a quick read and a must read for any age.

Libby Hickson said...

Steel Magnolias.
(Just had to add my bad guess into the mix. But couldn't that 2nd photo be Ouiser's bad hair? And there was an Easter egg hunt at the end...) :-)
