20! That's totally awesome, how time flies.
Okay, something different, eh? A spin? Um "Mars Attacks!!" (1996) Are those little flying saucers?

Your girls are the best!

Mandy said...

How about Wall-E. That is my first guess anyways. I am sure it will change

zukesgirl said...

OK - I guess Robots.

But I am ALWAYS wrong!

hehehe

Mandy said...

oohh, robots is a good one.

Mandy said...

Okay...my next guess is Shall we Dance with Richard Gere, Susan Sarandon and Jennifer Lopez. I am thinking there are spins in dancing...hmm.

Anthonette said...

The first one looks like a fancy brick pattern and the next one looks like the lights on a mirror in a Broadway dressing room. I'm going out on a limb to guess "Chicago".

So pretty much every Friday I send my brother an IM with your link and make him guess - even though he's not a stamper - he's just seen many more movies than me, LOL! This week he thinks it might be The Time Machine - because the time machine does that spinny thing and he says the peek looks like the morlock place. It also came out in 2002 (20 02), maybe you looked through that year for your 20th... But, he's never been right before. LOL!!

I'm not going to be able to play much today, but this is looking really interesting!

The first pic looks like a fancy grate floor or something...

The second one I swear I have seen it in a very famous pic from a movie but I just can't think what it is... I see these lights in the background a smiling, laughing couple in the middle, embracing but not looking at camera... no idea what it is though!

Carol Dunstan said...

actually the first pic makes me think of The Chronicles of Riddick but I doubt you ladies will ever pick that movie (aw, but it has Karl Urban!!!)

Sankari W. said...

I LOVE LOVE all these guesses - you guys are awesome! Libby that is hilarious that you send it to your brother - i think we need to see a card from hi too!!! Just going to run out - will be back after errands with another pic :)

My guess is usually way out there, but here goes, Batteries Not Included?

All right girlies the next sneak peek is posted. Enjoy!!

Hmmm back in time for Sneak Peek 3 and thinking it might be the cloud dust from a space ship taking off and maybe SP 2 might be space ship lights... Close Encounters of the Third Kind .... Now I've got that tune in my head.

zukesgirl said...

Treasure Planet or Star Dust?

More guesses!

Tracy

Libby Hickson said...

ET!?!?! :-)

Libby Hickson said...

Oooh how about Stargate??? I know it's not, but I'm just wishing, bc I have an Egyptian cat stamp I've never used...! LOL

Libby Hickson said...

My brother just said we're probably all way off and it's Little Women or something... hee hee

Anthonette said...

Is it Star Wars? Very tough, girls.

Brooke S said...

he,he,he posted another one :)

Jon Harmon said...

Libby's brother here. Based on #4, I was totally right... in that we're all totally wrong. I'm sticking with Little Women.

Sankari W. said...

Hi Jon!!! Welcome to the Friday Night Sneak Peek Guessing Party!!! YAY!

Mandy said...

The last one looks like siding on a house

Sankari W. said...

Just posted the last sneak peek of the night :)

Mandy said...

okay...my last guess for the night is Indiana Jones...good night. I can't wait to see what the movie is.

Sankari W. said...

Mandy - I have totally loved reading all your guesses!!! You all are sooo awesome!!

Jon Harmon said...

My new guess: Coraline. There hasn't ever been a current movie, has there?

Jennie said...

No idea whatsoever....a shot in the dark would be The Notebook

Sankari W. said...

There is something that has been said that is getting pretty close :)

Libby Hickson said...

Ok I don't know if my brother was the close one by thinking it's something current - but I'm guessing Slumdog Millionaire! Fits the Oscar weekend theme, and a couple of those remind me of lights like around a mirror, and I'm trying to think if there were backstage at the gameshow scenes other than the men's room...

Jon Harmon said...

I'm with Libby. I can't place the images exactly, but it makes sense :)

Sankari W. said...

hmmmm.....

(i fear that if i say anything more - i would have said too much :)

Jon and Libby - i love that you have made this a family affair - now Jon, we are expecting you to play along - can't wait to see your card!!!

Libby Hickson said...

I am twisting his arm to come over and get crafty this week and we speak... ;-)

Libby Hickson said...

*as we speak - you knew what I meant!

Unfortunately his response was "not gonna happen." Boo!

Sankari W. said...

C'mon Jon!!! You know you want to!!!

Sam said...

Hey guys! I'm a bit of a late starter today.

We are sitting out on the front deck, glass of white in hand and are BBQing some sausages for dinner (I know that you are coming into Spring...so this is not a taunt, but more of a tempting picture of what surely must be right around the corner for you).

I have no idea what the movie is this week. If it is one of your brand new releases, chance are we may not even have it here yet...so that's my story and I'm sticking to it ;-).

I really like Libby's Oscar-weekend theme theory...so just to be in there with a guess of sorts...I'll go with The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. That is out here...so I may be able to sneak it in one night this week...heheheheh!

Have a wonderful weekend!
Sam.

Carol Dunstan said...

#3 makes me think of POTC but the other pictures don't fit that... but #3 could fit with Stardust and I'd love it if it was that!

And I just watched Sargate again this week, so no complaints from me if it was that.

The Oscar theme is a good theory, though the closest we have come to a current movie that I can think of is Mamma Mia so hopefully it's something up for an Oscar but already on disc... I'm gonna have to think about this more after dinner :)

Sam said...

Hey Carol!

I'm sticking with Benji Butt.

I just had a mosey on over to the Oscar's web page and I saw something there to lead me to believe that my pluck is definitely a possibility...:-).

I'm doin' the mixin'bowl dance here, and it is only partly because of the glass of white.....;-). It'll be a great excuse to go to the movies this week!

RU going to convention? I haven't decided yet.

Sam.

Sam said...

'scuse the grammer..that should read:

...Oscars' web page...

I think.

Sam.

Libby Hickson said...

Oh good one Sam! Brad Pitt is completely standing in front of white siding!!! Ok new theory - 5 sneaks, 5 movies up for Best Picture - maybe it's a general "the nominees" inspiration this week and we can use any of the five movies? ;-)

Sam said...

Hey Libby...I would never have got it without your Oscars-theme brainwave.

Check out the Benji Button scene where there is a ballet dancer (Cate??) on a stage by herself...check out the roof...look familiar ;-).

Hehehehehehehehehehehehe!
:-)
Sam.

Sam said...

P.S. I would never have let that much out of the bag if it wasn't already well into the wee hours of Sat am for you guys...don't want to spoil it for everyone else.

But am feeling VERY chuffed with myself for fielding an absolute guess. Have not seen the movie, know nothing of it at all, 'cept it is up for a few oscars (not for Cate though :-(.

BTW What ARE you doing up at this time?

Sam.

Sam said...

Bit cocky though, aren't I? Sorry!

Don't know for sure...but feeling pretty happy...

Wish I had someone to go see it with tonight. Don't mind going to the movies by myself during the day...but would feel a bit odd at night... :-(

Sam.

Carol Dunstan said...

ok, Sam sounds pretty convinced so I think I'll join the Benji Button bandwagon ;)

Yes I am going to Convention... accom organised months ago, registered this week... just need to work out how I am getting there!

Sam said...

Ok....so I'm in a spot of bother. IF it is Benji Button...it is no longer on at my local cinemas. I'll have to read the book instead (I am assuming there is a book).

Bohooo!

Sam.

Libby Hickson said...

That roof is certainly familiar! Dang. I was REALLY hoping it was Slumdog Millionaire, I've actually seen that movie!!! No chance I'll get to see Benjamin Button in the next few days, boo hoo! (plus I was trying to convince my brother we could meet for lunch at an Indian restaurant to get inspired to make HIS card, LOL!)

Carol Dunstan said...

I won't be able to see it either, it's only on at Hoyts but starting at 3pm!!! :( Youtube only has the trailer from what I can see, a few interviews and things but certainly not large chunks of it (and I can't find any other way to "acquire" it)

Carol Dunstan said...

btw, I hate our local Hoyts... the carpet hasn't been relaid in the 15 years I have been here and it needed relaying the first time I went there! Seats are blah too...

Sam said...

I know what you mean about the shabby Hoyts. Ours are very gungy too!

I have two local Hoyts and it is not on in either. Nor is it on at our local Dendy....guess I could make a card with a button on it ;-).

Sam.

Brooke S said...

Wozers! Listen to all theses guesses.. You are all such deep thinkers! I just finished my card. Can't wait to see what you all come up with. It's always fun to post the pictures we have cropped. I don't know how you all come up with you guesses! Amazing!
Hugs
Brooke

Libby Hickson said...

Sam how much you want to bet that's the rule we need to follow on our card - use buttons! hee hee Ok I'm off to bed, FINALLY! :-)

Sam said...

Clever Libby! Bet you are right...

Nighty night :-)
Sam.

I can't even start to guess but I will be back later to find out.

Sweet Dreams!

Carol Dunstan said...

I was actually thinking we'd need to do something in reverse (reverse masking?)

Paula said...

Well I just am hoping it's something I've SEEN 'cuz I didn't see Emma last week, so I pretty much had no clue for a card :( (boo hoo!)... but if we're talking sci fi I just "may" have a chance...and no guesses by the way either...LOL

Sankari W. said...

I can't believe I missed so much fun guessing - it was at 34 comments when I went to bed at 12:30am here! You guys totally nailed it --- again!
