ooh yay! I get a sneek before bed time!

My first thought is Olivander's wand shop, but I know it won't be that since we've already done it!

Hmm, ET? ;-) LOL!

The only movies I can think of with a bookshelf type picture is 'Atonement', but still a bit tired.

We went out for GNOut dinner & a movie. Great Vietnamese Food, but had to endure most definitely the worst movie ever. Do not ever go see the 'Watchmen'. Just horrific, like written by a disturbed 14 year old boy. Oh my, I am still in pain.

LOL - definitely an odd choice for a GNO! But fyi my brother liked it, and the comic book it was based on, a lot. Me - no interest in seeing it!!

I have to admit that I also liked Watchmen. It was dark and disturbing, but I knew it would be going in. I thought it was very well made and that the actors did a really good job with the material.

I have no idea what this sneak peek is. I'm assuming this is something much smaller than it looks, like a divider on a desk, and not a bookcase.

Ok so as not to drive any commenters with differing movie tastes away - back to the matter at hand - hmmm... I agree Laura, some sort of dividers, like letter slots? But as always NO CLUE what movie!!

This is my favorite day of the week! However, it is not sunny in Kansas, it is very gloomy and cold. I can't wait for spring to get here. The pic looks familiar, but I can't think of what movie it comes from. Why is a Fish Called Wanda the first movie that comes to mind. Odd, I know. Can't wait for more sneak peaks.

Amy, I completely agree about Watchmen. Everyone I know who read the comic loved it, but I thought that there was too much violence and unnecessary nudity. Really, how could anyone take a blue guy seriously in the first place, and then he is naked all the time talking about advanced physics. Odd.

Looks like mail slots to me...You've Got Mail??? ;)

Hope you are all having a warm sunny day.. We are sunny here in Utah but a little windy.. But warm enough to play out side at the park... YA!

I'm enjoying all your guesses. You are all so clever. I love Carol's guess about Harry Potter.. You are so cute.

Wow - Brooke - these are great sneak peeks! I would never know the movie - i totally :( at guessing!

Amy glad that you had a GNO - at least you got out!!! yay!! I can't wait for something like that!

Alright chickadees! I am toodling back to work! Can't wait to see more of your guesses!!!

And Erica - I am with you - this is one of my favorite days too!! I get to hang out with you guys!!! yay!

Carol Dunstan said...

you know I wouldn't be surprised if these were from the same pic or scene... the first one looks like letter slots, and the second one like a polished wood counter top... like a hotel foyer, school office... something along those lines

And yes, this is one of my fave days of the week... I've now taken to staying up late (ok, I was also wanting to finish my book... but instead of laying in bed reading it I sat here) to see if a sneak peek is posted before I go to bed Fri night!

Libby Hickson said...

I agree Carol, looks like they could be the same scene. Hmmm... movie that takes place in a hotel... maybe? Wait - school office - Ferris Bueller's Day Off? Could it be? Haven't seen that movie in ages. The scene looks "older" than that to me though, I don't know.

Libby Hickson said...

How about a movie with some sort of St. Patrick's theme, since it's next week? :-)

Carol Dunstan said...

is there a movie with a St Pat's theme? Maybe it's just something set in Ireland. Hmm...

Mornin' sorry for butting in, I know I've been AWOL.

Couldn't resist adding my two cents here (I do still look every week), the colours remind me of Mr Magorium's Wonder Emporium...thta room where Jason Bateman does his accounting maybe.

Just a thought :-),
Sam.

Casa Blanca?

The second one looks like egg cartons on the counter. The only thing that reminds my of is the scene in The Family Stone with the egg dish Sarah Jessica Parker makes.

Sankari W. said...

Wow, Suzanne - what a memory!

Suzanne said...

It's only because I watched it again last Christmas & SJP cracks me up when she slides into all the egg goo!

Sankari W. said...

That was a hilarious moment -- I was totally cringing and laughing... partly because that is something that would totally happen to me! :)

Carol Dunstan said...

I haven't seen the Family Stone, so no idea if this could be it... but that is totally a carton of eggs! I guess that narrows the choice of film down a bit... how many of them have eggs in them? (In blue cartons? On kitchen benches?)

Carol Dunstan said...

you know what... I had thought it was one carton and then it's reflection ont eh shiney surface underneath, but I now think it's two cartons, one on top of the other!

Suzanne said...

I'm thinking it isn't a christmas/winter movie tho. What others have a scene with eggs...? or is that random

Libby Hickson said...

EGGS!??! Geez! It's really funny how you totally don't see something, but once somebody else says it, it's all you can see...!!! Still no clue on the film though.

Sankari W. said...

WOW!! I never saw those eggs until now either - seriously, if I didn't know what the movie is - i would never know from these sneak peeks! Carol is your middle name Sherlock?

Carol Dunstan said...

you watch, it's totally not going to be eggs! LOL

Sankari W. said...

I am going to guess Finding Nemo! :) That's going to be my guess every week! lol! There are eggs in Finding Nemo - you know!!

Carol Dunstan said...

yeah, they're drawn ones though! And don't come from a chicken!

OK, something from left field... Batteries Not Included. I've no idea if there are the letter things or eggs in it, I just got the vibe... (maybe I need a nap!)

Suzanne said...

Batteries Not Included!! I love that movie. I know there are kitchen scenes in Nights in Rodanthe and the countertop could be from there along with the cubby thingy.??

Sankari W. said...

Hi Guys,

I will get this up probably in the next 2-2.5 hours.... sorry for the delay

Christy Lynn said...

All I can think of is Ghostbusters...don't remember for sure if there's a letter holder thing in that movie but there's a hotel and then there's the scene where Dana's eggs cook themselves on the counter...
