Who doesn't need a little Christmas in July..
The short and long of it all~ Two girls who have men trouble.... Swap homes. One in the US and the other in England. They each meet local guy to fall in love with.
I LOVE the movie "The Holiday" What a phenomenal cast.. I had only been home from England for a short while when this movie came out.. What torture this was. Our sweet friend was visiting from England and wanted to go to this movie... Twist my arm... What fun we had... When I was thinking about what to make the little cottage that IRIS lived in came to mind. So I just had to use this little cottage stamp from Stampin' Up.
So much happens inside and out of this little cottage. Snow was a huge part of the humor in this movie.. I can just picture Amanda slipping and sliding on the snow in her high heels. Or Iris crying her guts out over a huge looser named Jasper... My favorite part of the England half of the movie is the Gorgeous house that Graham owns( I WANT IT!!) and the beautiful children he has.. Mister Napkin Head is such a sweet highlight... My Favorite part of the US half of the movie is the trio of Iris, Arthur and Miles.. I love how Iris and Miles fall for each other over their genuine admiration for Arthur. I love watching their relationship/friendship grow... Everyone deserves to find their perfect match. The one who loves to watch the same movies, vacation the same place, encourages you to be your best etc...
I hope you all enjoy this weeks movie. Have fun with a little CHRISTMAS IN JULY!!

Ah, I've seen this movie a few times!! It was on a lot this past Christmas season :) Though no one won an Oscar...it was a delightful little movie with a whole lot of eye candy (aka Jude Law!). Maybe making a snow card will help me feel cool in this heat!! LOL...the A/C just kicked in!!
I Love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love- did I mention LOVE this movie!!! Everyone is *perfection* Ok, I've GOTTA find a little time this week to play along :) Big Hugs everyone!
This is such a good film, I will definitely be re-watching this one, and probably making a holiday card to feel cool (I'm with ya Maureen -30 degree temp jump in a couple days after a super cool summer has been interesting!).
This is my dad's favorite movie. Yes I said my dad. I have to do this in honor of him. Can't wait!
This was a good movie. I liked the 'life switching' idea of vacationing in a place atypical to a person's norm. It's been so long since I've been able to play along with you all. Not sure when I'll be able to again either. But I have been checking the movie each week!
On an up note, our little Joshua is almost 3 months old already and doing very well!
This is a favorite of mine too! Such a great cast and I could watch this movie any time of the year :o) Hope to play along...now to come up with an idea...I have some but don't have a certain stamp I want. hhhmmm....
Just a quick note to let you know that a link to this post will be placed on CraftCrave today [11 Jul 12:00pm GMT]. Thanks, Maria
Couldn't resist playing this week, too! Love the background you made and the stamp you used Brooke!
Just made my card, and then realised that I'd totally forgotten the eyelets! Had fun making it anyway :)
It's not an official entry, because I totally forgot about the eyelets, but thought some of you might like to take a look at my 'The Holiday' inspired New Years Eve card

Will make sure I remember the challenge requirement next time!!
I wish I had been able to publish my card before deadline, but I did finish it and it's on my blog.
