Cinema Saturday Creative Challenge #3

Woo- hoo!! Welcome everyone to our 3rd challenge, where we are so excited to present to you Tim Burton's Oscar nominated amazing movie:
The Nightmare Before Christmas!

We know that some of you might be done with making Halloween projects - but we had to throw one more inspiration your way. since next Friday is Halloween! Tim Burton's 1993 movie The Nightmare Before Christmas is a stop motion (claymation) film that has earned cult-like fame. The motion in Claymation is achieved by photographing an image, then slightly moving it and then photographing it again - and repeating this process of photographing it frame by frame and putting it all together - until the illusion of motion is achieved. According to Epinions, this movie took 3 years to make at 24 frames being shot and merged together per SECOND!!!!! Isn't that amazing!!
Tim Burton's amazing gift of imagination produced characters and songs that are so unique and created a film that is filled with comdey, drama, suspense, whimsy, intrigue and fantasy. It is the story of Jack, the Pumpkin King of Halloween discovering "Christmas Town" and wanting to make it "better" by adding Halloween elements. Its really quite amazing to see such artistry and cleverness come alive in front of your eyes.

You can create anything you would like inspired by this movie - and it doesn't have to be restricted to anything Halloween, you can incorporate the Christmas themes, the love theme between Sally and Jack or anything in between!

Here is what we came up with for this week's Challenge:

Brooke's Creation:

Here is Sankari's  creation:

Man, I was so off base with the Friday Sneak Peek. Hadn't a clue.
I am totally into the Halloween themes right now & this was much fun, although I must say I am getting intimidated by the awesome cards you guys make.

Sorry, Brooke & Sankari...I didn't get to do a card. I've never seen the movie, so I wanted to watch it first. This has been an extremely busy week in the Chavez-Ruiz household.

I look forward to your next challenge!
